Cabbage in Milk
1 cabbage, cored and chopped
2 Tbs. butter, divided
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
Core and cut the cabbage up coarsely. Cook in boiling salted water for 2 minutes and then drain. Put back in the pot with 1 Tbs of the butter and milk, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 15 minutes, stirring periodically.
Add another 1 Tbs of butter, mix up, and serve.
