I had heard an 'idea' about the cranberries (personal favorite) and pot roast and found your recipe to be exactly what I am looking for. Thank you. I am using onion soup mix (Liptons), a 4.5 pound chuck roast, one can of whole, one can of jellied cranberries for tomorrow. My sister-in-law uses a similar recipe and puts dark chocolate chips in the gravy. I too, will be postmarking this site. I love adaptable recipes. Thanks again.
